School Community Council

Aloha! KIS's School Community Council (SCC), is made up of principals, teachers, staff, students, parents, and volunteer community members. Community Engagement enables shared decision-making to improve student achievement at KIS.  The School Community Council (SCC) helps craft the school's Academic and Financial Plan, which sets the goals for the school, the programs, and identifies the available resources to reach these goals.

Our meetings are always open to interested members of the KIS community.

We will also hold two community meetings each year to gather input from all those invested in Kailua Intermediate School.
